Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee all HR functions at our Fort Lauderdale location. This role is critical in shaping a positive and compliant workplace culture, managing day-to-day HR operations, and supporting business objectives through strong people practices.
The ideal candidate is both a hands-on generalist and a trusted advisor, with a proven track record in employee relations, compliance, recruitment, performance management, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary HR leader for the site, supporting managers and employees across all departments
- Oversee full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
- Guide and support employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution
- Manage performance review processes, development plans, and coaching initiatives
- Lead HR initiatives related to engagement, retention, and organizational culture
- Maintain accurate employee records, benefits administration, and HR reporting
- Serve as a liaison between management and employees to promote effective communication
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning and talent development strategies
- Support training initiatives and lead HR-related projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certification preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance regulations
- Proven experience handling sensitive employee matters with professionalism and discretion
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
